UniCare dental PPO coverage for individuals and families can be purchased with your UniCare medical coverage, or it can be bought "stand-alone."
If you are purchasing UniCare dental "stand alone," DO NOT use the UniCare health insurance application. You'll have to answer a lot of unnecessary questions and it will take longer for UniCare to process the application.
You'll save time, avoid aggravation and get your dental insurance faster by using the simple two-page UniCare dental application, which you can access via the "Apply Now" link to the upper left.
If you don't expect to use dentists participating in UniCare's dental PPO, the UniCare dental plan, with fixed fee schedule reimbursements, is not the most cost-effective dental plan for your needs.
As an alternative we recommend dental insurance with a PPO network more closely matching your provider use, or an indemnity dental plan with reasonable and customary (rather than fee schedule) reimbursements.
