You can select a higher deductible, lower premium plan for the member of your family who may need only basic health care insurance coverage. At the same time, you may opt for a plan with a lower deductible and a higher premium for the family member that may require more health care services.
Each family member who selects a different medical plan must independently satisfy the annual out-of-pocket maximum (participating and non-participating) for the plan he or she selects.
