When you purchase HSA-compatible coverage from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, you can establish a Health Savings Account (HSA) with many financial institutions, including Blue Healthcare Bank.
Formally organized in 2006, Blue Healthcare Bank offers HSA administration services to Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield plan members participating in qualified high deductible health plans.
Blue Healthcare Bank is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association and was created by 33 investing Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plans. Blue Healthcare Bank is partially owned by Health Care Services Corporation, the parent company of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois.
