Management
MedPlan Access, established in 1994, is operated by Joe Risse (Purdue University BS, University of Chicago MBA). In the health insurance industry since 1982, Joe is a member of the National Association of Health Insurance Underwriters, and resides with his family in West Lafayette Indiana. FYI, Joe's family health insurance is a Health Savings Account (HSA) plan.

Our Customers
Our clients are individuals, families, self-employed persons and small to medium businesses. We operate primarily in Illinois and in Indiana.
Most of our customers are in the Chicago and Indianapolis areas.

MedPlan Access maintains marketing agreements with leading health insurance companies, like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Anthem (Indiana) Blue Cross and Blue Shield and United HealthCare.

Insurance premiums are regulated by the state, so the health insurance plans we represent can't be purchased at a lower cost -- whether you're working directly with the insurance company or through an insurance agent.
